Wednesday, January 24th, 2007

Why Digg could be heading to the garbage. I was going through my normal morning RSS with my bagel routine today and came across a post from Create PC on why Digg Sucks I got there from a post I saw by John Scott of V7 on the exact same topic. (more…)

Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007

Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007

HATE Bait

Monday, January 22nd, 2007

I came home to make my wife lunch (love bait :) ) and she was watching Tivo’d “The Today Show” and these two kids were both recently jacked by Simon in an American Idol Tryout in Seattle (Rand where your peeps at?). I guess Simon took it too far and and personally insulted the kids on their apperance calling one a Bush Baby and giving the other some Fat remarks. (more…)

Worry less about ranking on Google

Monday, January 22nd, 2007

I have been thinking about something over the weekend when it comes to ranking on Google-vs-traffic. I have been in this industry long enough to know that rankings on Google for the most part can determine your businesses bottom line. I have also come to the conclusion that not ranking on Google is not a “site killer”. (more…)

Saturday, January 20th, 2007

Ok, I know its been about two month since I attended PubCon Las Vegas, and almost a year since Search Engine Strategies NYC 06, but I wanted to share some pic’s of some of the coolest swag. I always see “Shoe” boasting his swag, so I wanted to share a cool piece of clothing I picked up thanks to botw.org (thanks again guys - YOU ROCK!) (more…)

What kind of an example are you?

Saturday, January 20th, 2007

Ok, I hope you will find this one as funny as I have. I have a 4 year old, and I learned just how much of a sponge the little guy is. I am always talking about “making money”, “saving money”, “investing”, “become and entrepreneur”. I really didn’t think the little guy was getting it until we took a trip down to visit grandma and grandpa, uncle and aunt and all the other cousins. (more…)

Cached date and supplemental resutls on Google explained

Thursday, January 18th, 2007

Not sure what to make of all the talk about the terms “cache” and “supplemental results” going on lately when it comes to Google? These are not new terms, but since there is more “buzz” going around in the internet marketing community I have been getting asked a lot lately to explain what these terms are and mean. (more…)

Thursday, January 18th, 2007

Words can’t begin to describe how much I love My Blog Log! I have done posts in the past about the site, but at that time I really had not dove into it as deep as I have at this point. There is so much power at the finger tips of bloggers that use it for its full potential.
