Rep. Dan Eastman (Utah) Sponsors a Law Banning Keyword Advertising
I freaking think I had seen it all the last 4 years living in Utah, but Utah has gone and proved me wrong - I read this story talking about Rep. Dan Eastman banning keyword advertising and instantly thought (WTF)?
I would love to hear from anybody who may have more insight into this ridiculous waste of time that Utah law makers continue to dabble in. Is this a joke?

I agree, this should be April Fool’s but it’s true! I can’t believe it. I’m embarrassed that not only did it pass after lots of warnings, but that it was almost unopposed. Utah politicians are clueless when it comes to these issues.
I think you better stay in Utah, or they need a tech advisor who has a clue.
I was going to blog about this too, I did for Podango but not newspapergrl. I’m too busy trying to get Seth Godin to speak in Utah. Now that’s how they can make up for this, pledge a bunch of cash.
I’m going to email Rep. David Clark, who sponsored the law and ask him. His email is: deastman@utahsenate.org.
