Situation

DataHero has a simple goal: to help businesses achieve their goals more simply, through a user focused business intelligence tool. By building analytics software that prioritizes ease of use, DataHero wanted nothing less than a chance to completely revolutionize how businesses use information. So, they entered the game with a software-as-a-service (SaaS) analytics platform, ready to finally demystify the numbers businesses depend on. There was only one problem: Nobody had any idea they existed.

They had built a great analytics tool with the potential to revolutionize the way businesses use data — but their website just wasn’t doing it justice. No landing pages. No real optimization for search engines. Hardly any site visitors. More specifically, they needed a solution that would allow them to increase brand awareness, bring in more visitors to key lead conversion pages, and ultimately boost the overall number of users of their tool.

Strategy

In order to turn DataHero’s site into a conversion machine, 97th Floor created a strategy that included:

  • In-depth keyword and competitor research
  • Content ideation and creation
  • Follow-up social campaigns

From their keyword and competitor research, 97th Floor built some much-needed landing pages to populate the site, backed by content campaigns designed to earn traffic, social mentions, and links. Optimized with keyword research but designed to function as comprehensive user resources, these pages gave Google something worth indexing. But more importantly, they gave users a reason to not only stop by, but also look around and see what DataHero was all about.

Results

Once the landing pages went live, DataHero experienced an almost immediate jump in SERP rankings for some of the most competitive terms. 97th Floor's content quickly became the most lead-converting pages on the entire suite, boosting the referral traffic by 391% and the organic traffic by 84%. These traffic increases contributed to a 144% increase in revenue.

DataHero wanted to revolutionize the world of business analytics, but first they needed help revolutionizing their online marketing presence. Today, DataHero has the organic clout and customer base necessary to be a contender in their industry.
