This weekend, 97th Floor had our annual Holiday Party. We celebrated the event at The Grand America Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City, UT.
Festivities began with a cocktail reception outside the Imperial Ballroom. Attendees had the opportunity to chat with colleagues and their families and show off their holiday finery. Drinks were served as we waited to enter the ballroom for the main event.
Soon thereafter, we were invited into the main ballroom for dinner, and The Grand America’s buffet did not disappoint! Fresh salads, butternut squash soup, and a savory stuffing were just the beginning. Also featured were a savory lobster pot pie, creamy scalloped potatoes, and perfectly seasoned roast beef and turkey. A fully-stocked hot chocolate bar and dessert table rounded out the meal nicely.
After dinner, our CEO Chris Bennett gave a short speech, discussing several of 97th Floor’s successes over the past year, as well as a few of the lessons we’ve learned. He also expounded on some of 97th Floor’s upcoming initiatives, including the creation of two new divisions: the new R&D department we are calling 97 X, and the Growth Department.
Following Chris’s remarks, we enjoyed a performance from hypnotist Johnny Biscuit, as well as impromptu performances from a few 97th Floor employees and spouses... with the hypnotist’s help! With a little encouragement, our friends and loved ones were off on adventures to the beach, soaring through the air as fighter pilots, and impressing us all with their dancing prowess.
It was great to see the people we associate with regularly, this time in a more social environment. It’s always a treat to relax and get to know each other better while celebrating the holidays together. From all of us at 97th Floor, we wish you a Happy Holidays!
